Lionsgate will commence sales at AFM on The Hunger Games, the young adult franchise and one of the most hotly anticipated titles on the market.

Suzanne Collins will adapt her own bestseller set in a dystopian future where a young girl puts herself forward for a survival contest in order to save her community.

The book is conceived as the first in a trilogy. Nina Jacobson is producing through her Color Force company.

Helen Lee Kim and her team will also be talking up the mystery-horror sequel Silent Hill 2, which like the first instalment in 2006 is being produced by Samuel Hadida’s Davis Films.

Rounding out the slate is the thriller Dibbuk Box, a Ghost House Pictures project about a cursed box.

Ghost House Pictures partners Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert will produce and Lionsgate holds North American rights.
