Spanish production, distribution and sales house Lolafilms has named Tania Pinto Da Cunha and Eva Sklar its new co-directors of international sales.

Sklar has been with Lolafilms for eight years, most recently as head of press. Pinto Da Cunha comes to Lola from London's HanWay, the sales arm of Jeremy Thomas' Recorded Picture Company, where she worked with Thierry Wase-Bailey.

The appointments, made official on Monday, mark the replacement of former co-presidents of international sales Marina Fuentes and Will Machin who left last summer to join start-up Buena Onda Films.

The new, Madrid-based team will make its debut at this week's MIFED market. Among the titles on Lola's slate are Spanish foreign-language Oscar nominee Soldiers Of Salamina (Soldados De Salamina), Carlos Saura's Victoria Abril-starrer The 7th Day (El Septimo Dia), now in post-production, and Albert Boadella's Franco satire Good Bye, Generalissimo (Buen Viaje, Excelencia).

Lola CEO Andres Vicente Gomez is at the Tokyo International Film Festival for Nov 4's official competition screening of Good Bye, Generalissimo.
