Korean sales agent Lotte Entertainment has sold three films to Thailand and Malaysia at Hong Kong Filmart.

J Bics picked up Song Kang-ho-starring drama The Show Must Go On for Thailand, directly after the world premiere at Filmart. Song, who plays a father torn between his family and his job as a gangster, scooped the Best Actor prize for his performance in The Host at the inaugural Asian Film Awards on Tuesday night (March 20).

J Bics also bought the drama My Father for Thailand. Hwa Yea Multimedia took the film for Malaysia. Starring former model Daniel Henney, who has gained pan-Asian popularity for his role in the hit TV series My Lovely Samsoon, the film portrays a young adopted man who joins the US army to go to Korea and find his birth parents.

Hwa Yea Multimedia has also bought the romantic comedy Old Miss Diary for Malaysia. The film, which stars Yea Jiwon and Ji Hyun-woo, also sold to Box Office for Thailand.
