US-India consultancy and production company Nuclear Mango is lining up a summer shoot on its first film, the tentatively titled Love, Barack.

The story, based on an original idea by Nuclear Mango heads Govind Menon and William Keenan, is inspired by the slew of publicly documented campaign romances that sprung up during Obama’s Presidential push and follows the fortunes of a campaign organiser caught up in a whirlwind of euphoric romances. Menon and Keenan are producing for Los Angeles-based Nuclear Mango.

Keenan called Love, Barack “a monumental first film project for Nuclear Mango”, adding: “Barack Obama’s election brought many people together all over the world and this film will be as ethnically diverse and full of hope and change with a healthy dose of comedy.”
