Writer-director Craig Lucas has signed on to the satirical comedy Laws Of Motion, which GreeneStreet Films International (GSFI) will begin selling in Cannes.

Lucas previously directed the 2005 Sundance Grand Jury Prize nominee The Dying Gaul and wrote the 2002 drama The Secret Lives Of Dentists.

Matthew Perry, Ben Foster and Hilary Swank star in the Plum Pictures production about seemingly incompatible siblings who discover they need each other more than they know.

Shooting is set to begin in June in Southern Connecticut in time for an autumn 2008 release.

GSFI's slate incluides Sundance premiere The Nines with Ryan Reynolds and Hope Davis, comedy Gary The Tennis Coach starring Seann William Scott, and the thriller Tenderness with Russell Crowe.
