Liz Mackiewicz has been named co-president alongside Adam Wright of Regent Entertainment's sale division Regent Worldwide Sales.
Mackiewicz recently served as senior vice president of international sales at Morgan Creek International and will share with Wright oversight of all management and distribution initiatives as the ten-year-old company looks to expand.
'We are incredibly fortunate to have Liz join the Regent team,' Regent co-founder and president Paul Colichman said. 'Her vast expertise and leadership will continue to push RWS as one of the leading international distributors of quality motion pictures.'
At Morgan Creek International Mackiewicz was responsible for evaluating projects, sales in all territories, maintaining relationships with the US majors and licensing and distribution activities.
Prior to that she served as executive vice president of worldwide distribution at Arclight Films and held senior management positions at Media 8 Entertainment and First Look Studios. She has also served at MGM and Pathe International and Kodak Films.
