The British Academy of Filmand Television Arts/Los Angeles (BAFTA/LA) has elected producers Alan PMarshall and Rosalie Swedlin, Universal Studios Home Video vice president ofpublicity Vivian Mayer Sr, and Alexander Rufus-Isaacs, partner at Glassman, Browning& Saltsman, to its board of directors. The four new board members joinreturning directors Ian Abercrombie, David T Campling, Duncan Clark, GaryDartnall, Melanie Greene, Paul Heller, Nicolas Hippisley Coxe, John Houlton,David Korda, Anthony Root and Rebecca Segal. Donald Haber continues asexecutive director.

The board also re-electedGary Dartnall as chairman and Katy Haber as managing director, as well asNicolas Hippisley Coxe, as secretary and David T Campling, as treasurer.

Haber, whose contract wasrecently extended by the board, said in a statement: 'In the past 16years, BAFTA/LA has grown into one of the largest, most prominent organisationswithin the entertainment industry. I am proud to serve the nearly 1,000 membersof the academy as well as assist in our efforts to draw closer ties between theBritish and Los Angeles film and TV communities.'
