David Beaird's TheCivilization Of Maxwell Bright won the grand jury award for best narrative feature and DavidRedmon's Mardi Gras: Made In China won documentary honours at the 2005 Florida Film Festival, whichran from Apr 8-17.

Audience awardswent to Tim Kirkman's Loggerheads for best narrative feature, Kate Davis and David Heilbroner's PuckerUp: The Fine Art Of Whistling for best documentary feature, and Bobby Houston and RobertHudson's Mighty Times: The Children's March in the best short category.

Jay Rosenblatt'sPhantom Limb won bestdocumentary short and Shane Acker's 9 won best animated short.

Special JuryAwards went to Keith Bearden's The Raftman's Razor for originality, Pucker Up: The FineArt Of Whistling forExcellence in Filmmaking, and Lori Silverbush and Michael Skolnik's On TheOuts for NarrativeFilmmaking.

Peter Falk was presented with the lifetime achievementaward and Paul Reiser received the artistic achievement award.
