MM Media Capital Partners has hired Jackie Levine, formerly head of development at Michael Douglas' Furthur Films, as its head of creative affairs. She will be based in MCP's Beverly Hills office.

Her appointment follows the recent hiring of Lakeshore International's Peter Rogers to head up international sales and distribution operation for MCP, with more several more senior appointments expected to follow later this year.

"Jackie will be our main point of contact with the creative community," explained Hal Sadoff, one of MCP's partners, along with chairman Alton Irby, Richard Milne, Rodney Payne, Myles Nestel and Rogers. "Her strong producing record and relationships within the industry, together with our ability to finance projects, will help us attract pictures for the international marketplace.

At Furthur Films, Levine worked on numerous projects set up at various studios, including the upcoming One Night At McCool's for USA Films.

With offices in both Beverly Hills and London, MCP has the ability to fully finance and distribute films of all budget levels. Since opening its doors, MCP has been involved in financing projects including Robert Altman's Dr T & The Women and Chen Kaige's Killing Me Softly, as well as 13 Ghosts, Heartbreakers, Perfume and the big-budget HBO mini-series Band Of Brothers.

The team of Payne, Sadoff and Nestel was previously the core management group for the entertainment division of the UK based, NatWest/Coutts Bank.
