Onthe eve of the AFM, Cologne-based sales company Media Luna has added ArneBirkenstock's documentary 12 Tangos -Adios Buenos Aires to its market line-up.

Producedby Fruitmarket - Kultur undMedien and TradewindPictures, 12 Tangos follows the livesof several tango dancers in crisis-ridden Buenos Aires where the dance wasoriginally created by European immigrants.

Theacquisition by Media Luna follows after hot on the heels of another recentpickup, Go Etxebeste!,written and directed by Asier Altunaand Telmo Esnal, which isthe first full-length Basque language feature to be made in 18 years and wasscreened in the New Directors section of the San Sebastian International FilmFestival.

MediaLuna's recent sales activity has seen Rodney Evans'Brother To Brother going to Force Entertainment for Australia and New Zealand, while Ivo Trajkov's labour camp drama The Great Water, Macedonia's entry for the 2004Foreign Language Film Academy Award, had all rights sold to Turkey and theatrical rights picked up by Romania's MoebiusAssociation.

Inaddition, First Run Features acquired TV and video rights and Finnishbroadcaster YLE free-TV rights to Pepe Danquart's Tour de France documentary Hell On Wheels.
