Memento Films International has announced strong sales on Aditya Assarat's award-winning Wonderful Town including a US and a UK deal. Kino picked up the film for the US with Soda Pictures in for the UK and Aztek taking Australian rights.

Additional territories sold include Switzerland (Trigon), Austria (Stadtkino), Greece (Rosebud) and India (Alliance). Deals in Benelux, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Norway are also forthcoming. The film, which has previously earned prizes in Rotterdam and Pusan, screened in the Berlinale's Forum last week.

Memento will release Wonderful Town in France on May 7.

The company also generated buzz with a promo reel from Ursula Meier's Home starring Isabelle Huppert and Olivier Gourmet. Diaphana holds French rights while further pre-sales have now been completed with Lumiere for Benelux, Filmcoopi for Switzerland, Rosebud in Greece and Alliance in India. Deals with Japan, ex-Yugoslavia, Portugal, Turkey and Latin America are under negotiation.

The few remaining territories on Olivier Assayas' Cannes title Boarding Gate were sold including Turkey (BIR), Japan (AMG), Scandinavia (Nonstop), German-speaking Europe (Ascot Elite), Hong Kong (Panorama), Spain (Contraplano), Portugal (Atalanta) and Eastern Europe (HBO).

Finally, Venice title Under The Bombs by Philippe Aractingi sold to Greece (Artplex), Turkey (BIR), Scandinavia (Nonstop) and Australia (SBS) to join sales previously concluded with Italy (Fandango), the UK (Artificial Eye) and India (Alliance).
