Metrodome Distribution has acquired all UK rights to French animated feature Fear(s) Of The Dark from Celluloid Dreams.

Pierre Menahem of Celluloid Dreams negotiated with Metrodome CEO Peter Urie, general manager-home entertainment Tom Stewart and acquisitions & business affairs manager Kate Edwards.

Metrodome plans an autumn 2008 release.

The feature film, which has already played Rome, Rotterdam and Sundance, is a collection of animated shorts from top comic book artists including Blutch, Charles Burns, Marie Caillou, Pierre di Sciullo, Jerry Kramsky, Lorenzo Mattotti, Richard McGuire, Michel Pirus and Romain Slocombe.

Metrodome's other recent acquisitions include Assembly, Before The Rains, and CSNY Dejà Vu.
