The executive arrives from his consultancy Finberg Worldwide and will serve as evp of marketing.
Finberg will also supervise all marketing initiatives on behalf of MGM co-chairmen and co-CEOs Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum.
Prior to launching his own company the new hire served as evp of international marketing at Marvel Studios where he worked on Iron Man 2 and played a key role in bringing Thor, Captain America:The First Avenger and The Avengers to Comic-Con.
Before that he was svp of international marketing at Paramount Pictures International and before that served close to 10 years at DreamWorks as an international marketing / creative executive.
He has held positions at LucasFilm, Ltd and MGM/United Artists and served as a consultant for Universal Pictures International.
