Farrell had previously been VP of international publicity at Paramount Pictures and DDA.

London-based Romley Davies Publicity has hired Mia Farrell as its head of theatrical.

Her remit at the company is to expand the theatrical business to include UK release campaigns as well as key markets and festivals. RDP just handled publicity for David Robert Mitchell’s Cannes Critics’ Week selection The Myth of the American Sleepover. The agency recently handled Optimum’s release of Ponyo and is now working on Lionsgate UK’s Alpha and Omega.

RDP continues to expand its TV and film departments, as ITV Studios has retained the company across its global distribution and home entertainment.

Farrell had previously been VP of international publicity at Paramount Pictures and DDA and has worked on films including Sam Taylor-Wood’s Love You More, Michael Bay’s Transformers and Peter Jackson’s Lord of The Rings trilogy.
