Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham, Sam Riley and 50 Cent will star in 13, Gela Babluani's remake of his 2005 French thriller 13 Tzameti that Paramount Vantage will begin to pre-sell at AFM.

Endeavor represents North American rights on the story of a young man who steals a mysterious package and unwittingly gets involved in a gambling ring concerning a multi-player Russian roulette tournament.

Production is scheduled to start in and around New York City on November 17.

13 Tzameti won the 2006 Sundance Grand Jury Prize, European Discovery Of The Year at the European Film Awards, the Lion Of The Future award at the Venice Film Festival as well as two Cesar nominations.

Rick Schwartz' Overnight Productions is producing with Barbarian Films and Morabito Picture Company. This is the third film to be financed through Barbarian's strategic alliance with Oceana.

Schwartz, Aaron Kaufman of Barbarian and Valerio Morabito of the Morabito Picture Company are producing and Myles Nestel and Anthony Callie of Oceana will serve as executive producers alongside Douglas Kuber and Ron Hartenbaum of Barbarian and Alan Bernon and Brian Edwards of Overnight.
