In a raft ofpromotions at Warner Bros International Television Distribution (WBITD), RonaldW Miele has become executive vice president of business affairs, operations andgeneral counsel and Malcolm Dudley-Smith moves up to executive vice presidentof sales and business development. In addition, Renee I Wolf becomes seniorvice president of business affairs and deputy general counsel, Warner BrosInternational Television president Jeffrey R Schlesinger announced today (Jan27).

Miele, who since1997 has served as senior vice president of business affairs and generalcounsel, will continue to oversee all business and legal matters involving theinternational television activities of Warner Bros. He will also assume greaterinvolvement in the overall business of the division as well as the planning andstrategic operations. Dudley-Smith, who has served as senior vice president ofsales and business development since 2000, will continue to oversee all of thedivision's sales activities in Latin America, Asia and Canada, includingpay, cable and free TV. He will also be responsible for identifying equityinvestments and strategic alliances for WBITD internationally.

Wolf, who is currently WBITD's vice president ofbusiness affairs and deputy general counsel, will assume day-to-dayresponsibility of all legal and business affairs operations of the division.

Prior to joiningWarner Bros, Miele worked for six years in various capacities, including seniorvice president of business affairs-telecommunications at MGM. Dudley-Smithjoined Warner Bros in 1994 and previously worked as vice president of sales andbusiness development at UIP Pay TV. Wolf joined the company in 1996 and priorto that worked as an attorney at the law firm Kaye, Scholer, Fierman, Hays & Handler.
