Fox's sci-fi thriller Minority Report continued its storming run over the weekend with a $13m haul from 19 European markets to give it a $145m international cumulative score. The picture opened number one in Greece with a $380,000 gross from 51 screens - yet another all time best territory opening for star Tom Cruise and the third best ever Greek opening for Fox behind Independence Day and Titanic.

Minority Report held on to the number one spot in Spain, where it dropped 29% with an impressive $2.2m from 372 screens for a $6.5m cumulative total. It also clung to number one in France, bullying into second place Columbia TriStar Film Distributors International's release of XXX with $3.6m from 705 screens for a $9.5m running total. In Germany it held on to top spot with a $2.97m haul from 832 screens for a $10.6m cumulative score. In Italy Minority Report finished second behind Medusa Distribuzione's Pinocchio, for which Miramax has worldwide rights excluding Italy, with a $1.44m gross from 397 screens and an $8.3m cumulative score.

Studio executives project the picture will go on to take in the region of $185m internationally not including Japan
