Miramax Filmsand its genre releasing company Dimension Films have signed a multi-year,multi-picture co-financing agreement for family entertainment projects producedby Keystone Entertainment. Miramax is the distributor of Keystone's family filmfranchise Air Bud.

Under the deal, Miramax has the optionto acquire US rights to Keystone's movies and has agreed to release a minimumof two of Keystone's family films per year over the next three years.

Keystone is run by filmmaker RobertVince and has produced four Air Bud films and two films in the MVP franchise.

"This is anexciting next step in the relationship between Miramax and Keystone, whichbegan in 1997 with the successful release of Air Bud," said Vince. "Harvey[Weinstein] and Bob [Weinstein] are great partners and understand the long-termvalue of family films."

Michael Helfant,senior executive vice president of Dimension, and Andrew Gumpert, senior vicepresident of business and legal affairs, negotiated on behalf of Miramax. Vinceand Gail Schacht, vice president of business affairs negotiated on behalf ofKeystone Entertainment.
