UKdistributor Momentum Pictures has picked up seven titles during a busy Berlin.The acquisitions include Andrew Lau's forthcoming thriller The Flock from Bauer-Martinez; comedy Bandidas starring Selma Hayek andPenelope Cruz from Europacorp; Gregg Araki's Smiley Face starring Anna Faris from First Look; and the new Mike Leigh project thatwill start shooting in 2007.

Among foreign-language titles, Momentum grabbed Oskar Roehler's Berlinale Competition entry The Elementary Particles from Celluloid Dreams and Isabelle Mergault's French local hit Je Vous Trouve Tres Beau (You are so handsome) starring Michel Blancfrom Gaumont.

Momentum, which is partnered with Aurumin Spain, alsostruck a joint UKand Spanish deal for The Banquetstarring Zhang Ziyi with HuayiBrothers.
