Montreal's Festival du Nouveau Cinema added eight titles toits October line-up, including screenings of Thomas Vinterberg's Sundance titleDear Wendy, Pierre Jolivet's Cannestitle Zim & Co. and the worldpremiere of Quebecois director Robert Morin's shock film Petit Pow!Pow! Noel.

The festival will also present Amos Gitai's Free Zone, which won Israeli actress Hanna Laslo the bestactress prize at Cannes and Belgian title Nuit Noire by Olivier Smolders.

The new films join other previously announced titles includingPalme d'Or winner L'Enfant by theDardenne brothers, Lars von Trier's Manderlay, Alain Cavalier's Le Filmeur and One Night by Iranian filmmaker Niki Karimi.

Other attractions include a complete retrospective of thework of Russian filmmaker Aleksandr Sokurov and a presentation of the 1974 filmMontreal Main by Frank Vitale as part ofa celebration of Montreal's arts community.

The FNC runs from October 13 to 23.
