The 10th Motovun Film Festival (Jul 28-Aug 1) has announced competition programme, juries and this year's partner country- Russia, honouring 100 years of Russian film.

The anniversary will be include a week of Russian Film in the Croation capital Zagreb, from Jul 5-11, presenting 10contemporary works, including films fromAlexei Balabanov, Sergei Bodrov, Nikita Mihalkov and Alexander Rogozhkin.

In Motovun the programme will range from the first ever Russian film, Vladimir Romashkov's Stenka Razin to Sergei Eisenstein's Strike, while the second half of the century will be presented by Andrei Tarkovski's Ivan's Childhood and the youngest film in selection, Aleksei German's My Friend Ivan Lapshin among others.

The main award of the festival, the Motovun Propeller for the best film will be given by the jury composed of Pawel Pawlikovski, legendary Slovenian actress Milena Zupancic and Bosnian-born Pavle Levi, professor of film at the Stanford University.

The winner of the 'A to A' award, for the best film from the region from Austria to Albania, will be judged by two brothers, Croatian producer and director Nenad Puhovski and actor Zarko Puhovski; and two sisters: Macedonian director Teona Mitevska and actress Labina Mitevska.
