Good luck Vivien, sounds like a great venture!
And Tom, quite a few UK distributors regularly receive European subsidies to help promote (ie reduce the financial risk) UK and 'European' films in the UK market.
Interesting points Tom. But surely the reason a European partner can invest in a film with a British co-producer is because the film qualifies as 'European', whether via an official treaty or non official co-production. Once we Brexit, that will no longer be the case.
Fantastic achievement and well done Liz and the entire Doc/Fest team...

But HMRC guidance on EIS not being available to international coproductions needs to be ironed out and fast!
Long overdue and important issues being addressed here...

Much deserved for 'Oh Boy' which should be in the running for the International Award... Can't believe 'The Deep' is not in this list...

So sad... I watched the Sopranos entire series 4 times... James was awesome in that... and in many ways, lead the whole 'TV is the new film thing'... he'll be missed... :(
