Wim Wenders' next feature Don't Come Knockin' has received the highest amount - Euros 500,000 - from Hamburg's regional film fund FilmFoerderung Hamburg (FFH) in its latest round of a total Euros 2m in funding.

With a screenplay by Sam Shepard and starring Shephard and Jessica Lange, Don't Come Knockin' will be the first production of Wenders' new company Hamburg-based Reverse Angle Production which he founded last autumn with Peter Schwarzkopff.

The project has also received a total of Euros 800,000 in production support from the German Federal Film Board's (FFA) project committee and the German-French Funding Committee. Paris-based Victoire Productions will co-produce

Among the other projects supported by FFH are MMM Filmproduktion's co-production with Helsinki-based DO Film of Auli Mantila's My Friend Henry and Gordian Maugg's family chronicle Zeppelin!, which both received Euros 250,000.
