VA Musetto and Kyle Smith from The New York Post, and David Fearand Joshua Rothkopf from Time Out New York have been invited to join the NewYork Film Critics Circle (NYFCC).

The organisation has also voted Stephen Whitty from the StarLedger and Newhouse News as vice-chairman. He will replace Marshall Fine aschairman in 2007.

The NYFCC will vote on their annual film awards on Dec 11. Thecategories are: best picture, director, screenplay, actor, actress, supportingactor, supporting actress, cinematography, animated movie and best first film.

The annual awards presentation will take place on Jan 7 2007 atthe Supper Club, a new venue for the organisation.
