Newmarket Filmshas acquired North American rights to a trio of Scandinavian pictures fromTrust Film Sales - Old, New, Borrowed And Blue, In Your Hands, and Daybreak.

Natasha Arthy'sDanish bittersweet romantic comedy Old, New, Borrowed And Blue won the 2003 Grand Jury Award in the AFIFEST's International Feature Competition; it stars Sidse Babett Knudsen, BjornKjellman, and Soeren Byder.

Annette KOlesen's Danish relationship drama In Your Hands weaves together the themes of love,faith and trust and made its debut in competition at the 2004 Berlin FilmFestival. Ann Eleonora Jorgensen, Trine Dyrholm and Sonja Richter star.

The Swedishdrama Daybreak,directed by Bjorn Runge, examines the yin and yang of love and hate and won TheBlue Angel award for Best European Film and a Silver Bear for the Best Ensembleat Berlin. Pernilla August, Jakob Eklund and Marie Richardsson star.
