Amazon.com has halted preorders for some DVD and Blu-ray discs from studio Disney.

In an apparent contract dispute, the online retail giant is restricting customers’ ability to preorder physical copies of films including Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Maleficent.

Amazon has used the same tactic several times in 2014, including with Warner Bros, before reaching a resolution earlier this year, as well as an ongoing feud with Hachette Book Group.

Disney and Amazon were unavailable for comment at time of publication.

A spokesperson for Amazon’s Prime Instant Video (previously LoveFilm) service was unavailable to confirm whether the dispute would impact the availability of Disney films on its service.

News of the dispute was first reported by Home Media Magazine and then the Wall Street Journal.
