Anthony Buckner joins Terra Mater

Red Bull Media House’s Terra Mater Factual Studios is setting up a new feature division under the label Real Fear Films. 

Anthony Buckner, formerly Icon Entertainment International’s head of sales, will handle the development of the slate alongside Terra Mater’s executive producer cinema, Joanne Reay, with a view to producing up to five films over a three year period.

The Real Fear Films’ slate will comprise co-productions as well as fully financed ventures and the outfit has three titles in development, with the first expected to enter principal photography in October 2013. 

Terra Mater Factual Studios CEO, Walter Koehler said: “We are committed to investing in intelligent filmmaking, producing action movies for the mind, with distinctive stories that will doubtlessly provoke debate and divide opinion.
