Australian producers are being invited to attend the Canadian co-production market which takes place during the Atlantic Film Festival in Nova Scotia.
Producers from Australia will join delegates at Canadian co-production market Strategic Partners (Sept 15-18), which is part of the Atlantic Film Festival in Halifax Nova Scotia.
Selected Australian producers will attend the three-day concentrated co-production market with support from Australian state agencies Film Victoria, Screen NSW, Screen Queensland, ScreenWest and South Australia Film.
As part of an ongoing partnership with the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF), two Canadian delegates from Strategic Partners 2010 have also been selected to attend MIFF’s film financing market, 37°South Market.
“It’s terrific that we are able to add Australia to our Spotlight this year. With so many strong Aussie producers interested in co-production with Canada and the rest of the world, it is bound to be fruitful on many levels,” said Jan Miller, director of Strategic Partners, which is also spotlighting South Africa and the US this year.
The deadline for entries is July 11.
