Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival has unveiled its full programme for this year’s tenth anniversary.

Momcilo Mrdakovic’s Mamarosh will receive its UK premiere as the opening film on Sept 17, one of 19 UK premieres and six world premieres at this year’s festival. Other UK premieres at the festival include Feo Aladag’s Inbetween Worlds and Barbara Miller’s Forbidden Voices.

The festival will close on Sept 21 with a preview of Pawel Pawlikowski’s Ida.

Coinciding with the referendum for an independent Scotland and with Berwick-upon-Tweed the border town between England and Scotland, this year’s edition will have a theme of “Border Crossing”.
