Django heads towards $150m at international box office

Quentin Tarantino’s hit had reached $112m through Sony Pictures Releasing International by Monday and arrives this weekend in Italy and Argentina.

Fox International reported that Lincoln stood at $15.7m by Jan 31. The historical drama arrives in 22 territories this week including France and Holland.

Arnold Schwarzenegger action vehicle The Last Stand opens in Germany and Austria, while Hitchcock opens in Spain and Mexico as well as several other markets. Ang Lee’s global smash Life Of Pi has reached $425.5m.

Warner Bros Pictures International’s Gangster Squad has grossed $31m and arrives this weekend in Brazil. New Line/MGM/Warner Bros’ The Hobbit stands at $648m.

Last weekend’s number one North American release Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters opens through Paramount Pictures International in around 15 markets, among them Portugal and Turkey.

Flight starring Oscar nominee Denzel Washington takes off for the UK, Australia, the Netherlands and Belgium. Cirque Du Soleil also lands in the UK while Jack Reacher will be looking to cause a ruckus in Japan, where star Tom Cruise enjoys a huge following.

Working Title’s Les Misérables stands at $182.1m through Universal Pictures International.

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International’s Wreck-It Ralph stands at $189.2m, Monsters Inc 3D $6.6m, Frankenweenie $45.9m and Finding Nemo 3D $20.6m.
