The producer, film finance and packaging specialist and former agent will address the Independent Film & Television Alliance’s (IFTA) 15th annual production conference on April 25.

Perhaps not surprisingly, the theme of the conference called Straight To… Theatrical! is the return of independent filmmakers to making theatrical films.

“Our annual conference highlights the trends that matter for Independents and the professionals who work with them,” said IFTA president and CEO Jean Prewitt.

“This year, the resonating message is that theatrical films are in high demand and that this demand is being satisfied largely by the independents, not the major studios. Our speakers will illuminate how producers can realise the rewards of this shift.”
