Channel 4 has signed a digital content distribution deal with Lovefilm that will see a raft of shows including Peep Show and Father Ted added to the VoD service.

The deal will see a bespoke 4oD area created in the Lovefilm Instant service, which will feature the archive of C4 content.

Among the shows featured will be seven series of Shameless, every episode of The IT Crowd and classic C4 shows such as Drop The Dead Donkey, Queer As Folk and Teachers.

C4 director of commercial and business development Sarah Rose said the shows would complement Lovefilm’s existing offering.

“We’re very proud of our rich archive of shows on 4oD and we’re delighted to find another platform for many of them on Lovefilm,” she said.
