Shooting will take place in London, Wales and the Spanish Canary Islands, predominantly Tenerife.

Leterrier directs from a screenplay by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi and story by Travis Beacham, Hay and Manfredi based on the 1981 film of the same name.

Basil Iwanyk and Kevin De La Noy are producing and Richard D Zanuck and Legendary Pictures’ Jon Jashni, Thomas Tull and William Fay serve as executive producers.
