EXCLUSIVE: Continental Media, run by partners Matthew Shreder and James Andrew Felts, has closed an all-rights deal with Tony Taglienti’s 4Digital Media for the vampire-serial killer story.

Bela Kiss stars Kristina Klebe and Rudolf Martin and was directed by Lucien Forstner.

The film is set against the legend of the serial killer Bela Kiss as five bank robbers hide out in a remote hotel on the run from police.

Bela Kiss slaughtered 23 young women at the start of the First World War and left their blood-drained bodies in metal barrels, conserved in alcohol.

He was never found but according to rumour has been spotted over the decades in different parts of the world. The film weaves together past and present.

“Tony Taglienti is one of the UK’s most committed distributors,” said Felts. “His ability to adapt within the changing distribution landscape sets him apart from his UK competition.”

4Digital Media plans a first quarter 2014 release.
