The new company will represent local talent on the sub-continent and throughout South Asia across a slate of portfolios that includes entertainment, sports consulting, licensing, merchandising, live events and business developments.

CAA’s David Taghioff and Caleb Franklin will lead CAA KWAN with KWAN chief executive and managing director Anirban Das Blah and COO Indranil “Niel” Blah.

The new company launches with more than 60 employees and will be based in Mumbai and run offices in Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

“India’s robust entertainment industry offers CAA KWAN tremendous opportunities for talent across multiple platforms,” said CAA president Richard Lovett. “In a very short period of time, KWAN has intelligently scaled and diversified their business to maximise this thriving marketplace for their clients.”

“We believe that the combination of CAA’s experience, influence, and expertise, with KWAN’s extensive knowledge of the Indian entertainment industry, will enable us to provide an unmatched spectrum of services for our clients,” said Blah.
