Italian production company FilmMaster has opened a US office in Los Angeles under the stewardship of Eleonora Granata-Jenkinson.

Granata-Jenkinson was a vice-president of acquisitions at Turner Pictures, senior vice-president of production at Pandora Cinema, and has represented several key festivals including the Venice Biennale.

“In recent years, we have become increasingly aware of the importance of establishing a base in Los Angeles,” FilmMaster CEO Ada Bonvini said. “Both to meet the needs of our Italian clientele who are looking for American talent, and also to satisfy the major studios’ requirements for Italian production services.

“We heard terrific things about Eleonora and, as soon as we met her, we realised she was the right person to represent us.”
