Joe Patrick promoted to lead worldwide sales, Danny Goldman joins team

Miramax is to open its first international office in Covent Garden, London, later this month as it builds its global sales operations.

Joe Patrick has been promoted to lead worldwide sales. He will continue to report to Miramax CEO Mike Lang and will work closely with Beth Minehart, svp, global digital.

Danny Goldman has joined Patrick’s team as svp and head of sales, Europe. Goldman will report to Patrick and be based in London.

“We are very pleased to have Joe take on a broader role, as his relationships and experience have proven extremely valuable.  We are fortunate to have him on our team and look forward to his continued success in this new, expanded role,” said Lang. 

“Danny brings tremendous experience and strong relationships, and we are thrilled that he will lead our London office day-to-day.  He is a creative, seasoned sales executive who has negotiated many licensing agreements and output deals with TV and digital clients throughout Europe.” 

Lang continued: “Opening the London office as our European hub is an important step in our company’s evolution and we are thrilled to have a presence on the ground.”

Patrick joined Miramax in March as svp, domestic television & digital sales. Patrick was previously evp at MGM Worldwide Television Group overseeing all TV sales in the US, Canada, and Latin America. 

Goldman was previously CEO of Power Television. He also spent ten years at Sony Pictures Television as svp of sales, responsible for licensing films and TV series to broadcasters across Europe.
