Paul McGuire has been named senior vice-president of worldwide corporate communications at Warner Bros Entertainment.

McGuire arrives from The CW, where he had served as executive vice-president of network communications since 2006.

He will report to and work closely with the studio’s executive vice-president of worldwide corporate communications and public affairs Susan Fleishman and will also continue to serve in an advisory role to The CW Network on its communications plans.

“Paul is a highly regarded, innovative communicator and strategist,” Fleishman said. “He’s been a part of the Warner family for a decade and has proven himself to be a leader whose vision and excellent relationships with the media are invaluable to our company. I couldn’t be more pleased to have Paul as a top member of my team.”

Prior to The CW, McGuire spent five years as executive vice-president of network communications for The WB Network and before that wsa senior vice-president of media relations for the United Paramount Network.
