Robinet will now oversee all the film related activities at BAC: acquisitions, marketing, distribution in cinemas, distribution on video, international distribution and sales to TV.

“I am happy to take over at BAC. I am taking over a very motivated and competent team that I know well,” Robinet commented. “We aim to strengthen yet further the international sales company which has been growing fast since Gilles Sousa took over in 2011.”

In a statement, Lener paid tribute to Robinet’s “youth, experience and passion for cinema.”

BAC has had some notable recent successes, among them Et Is On Vivait Tous Ensemble (which posted 520,000 admissions), and animated feature Niko 2 (800,000 admissions).
