Former Head of Drama, BBC Scotland and Head of Independent Drama, BBC joins Sky

Anne Mensah has been appointed Head of Drama, Sky, filling the role vacated by Elaine Pyke, recently promoted to Director of Programmes, Sky Atlantic HD.

Mensah will report to Stuart Murphy, Director of Programmes, Sky 1 HD, Sky 1, 2 and Pick TV today and Director of Commissioning, Sky Entertainment.  

Mensah will oversee drama commissioning for Sky channels Sky 1HD, Sky Living HD, Sky Atlantic HD, Sky Arts HD and Sky Movies.

Mensah’s executive producer credits for BBC One, BBC Two and BBC Three included the Emmy-nominated Wallander, God On Trial, Fiona’s Story, Waterloo Road, Bodies and Sweeney Todd.
