Los Angeles-based Maya Entertainment has expanded its home entertainment division with three executive announcemnts.

Kristi Alires has joined as Vice President of Marketing, Home Entertainment, a newly created position; and Christina Hirigoyen has joined as Director of Sales, Home Entertainment.

Also, Mary Escobedo has been promoted Vice President, Sales, Home Entertainment. She will be responsible for expanding Maya’s DVDs into the marketplace and estalishing key partnerships with retailers. She has been with Maya for two years, previously directing Latin Sales for Universal Music & Video Distribution.

Alires will be responsible for brand positioning and marketing/advertising strategies. She was previously VP of Marketing at Xenon Pictures.

Hirigoyen will be responsible for growth of key accounts such as Ingram and Baker & Taylor. She had been regional director of sales at First Look and previously was sales manager for Warner Music Latina.
