Public relations veterans Lee Ginsberg and Chris Libby are partnering to launch new PR firm Ginsberg Libby.

The Los Angeles-based boutique agency will work in film and corporate entertainment.

Libby joins from BWR Public Relations, where he had expanded the company’s film division as VP. Also from BWR, Chris Regan and Gina Lang will join Ginsberg Libby as directors of film and corporate entertainment. Also Kate Payne will serve as senior account executive and Karina Vladimirov will provide administrative support.

Ginsberg most recently served as VP at PMK/HBH. PMK/HBH’s Laura Paulsen will join Ginsberg Libby as a senior account executive.

“We are thrilled at the prospects of this new venture and thankful to be forging a vibrant future with the full and gracious support of our respective firms,” Ginsberg and Libby said in a joint statement.

Ginsberg’s experience at PMK/HBH includes working on campaigns for Eastern Promises, La Vie En Rose, Away We Go and Transformers. Prior to that job, he was a VP at Block-Korenbrot, working on films such as Capote, Touching The Void, Layer Cake, and Volver. He started his career at BNC as an assistant to Brad Cafarelli and he also worked at MRC.

Libby joined BWR in 2005 and worked on titles such as The Girlfriend Experience, The Reader, In Bruges, The Hurt Locker and An Education. He also worked with CineVegas, AFI Dallas International Film Festival and 2929 Entertainment. He previously worked at MPRM and started his career at Clein + White.
