Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) senior vice-president of international T Paul Miller will oversee the company’s operating territories in the Asia-Pacific and Latin American regions as well as select emerging markets.

Based at SPHE’s headquarters in Culver City, Miller is charged with growing and establishing new business opportunities in markets where the studio has operating offices, including Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, India, Greece and Brazil. He previously served as head of SPHE’s international licensing operation.

“T Paul is now charged with optimising the performance of a group of businesses that make a sizable contribution to SPHE’s global performance,” SPHE executive vice-president Matt Brown said. “He is the perfect choice to lead these important markets through this time of transition in the industry.”

Amy Heller has been named vice-president of Asia-Pacific and emerging markets and reports to Miller. She will oversee the roll-out of commercial strategies and serve SPHE’s customers in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, India, Greece and Brazil.

Heller is also based in Culver City and most recently held the position of vice-president of international.
