Former Saatchi & Saatchi exec named development director

CTBF (Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund), the charity of the UK film and television industries, has appointed Peter Suchet to the new position of development director.

Suchet will be responsible for increasing awareness of the Fund and developing key partnerships and new fundraising opportunities to enable further support to beneficiaries nationwide.

Suchet was a board director at Saatchi & Saatchi for over 10 years followed by the positions of sports marketing director at The Daily Telegraph and business development director at J. Walter Thompson. 

He went on to lead the marketing and development teams of two leading digital agencies and more recently headed fundraising, development and marketing departments for two major charitable organisations, Grief Encounter and The Retail Trust.

This year marks the 90th anniversary of the CTBF.
