Dane DeHaan and Rooney Mara are attached to star in Electric City’s drama marking the debut feature from Baz Luhrmann’s protégé.

Electric City’s Lynette Howell and Jamie Patricof have partnered with Australian writer-director Diesel Schwarze and are working with UK music producer Alex Da Kid to create original contemporary music.

Ziggy tells of the rise and fall of a hunchback escape artist who arrives in New York during the late 1920s and falls for the fiancé of a powerful media mogul.

Schwarze began his career working under Luhrmann during Moulin Rouge and La Boheme on Broadway. He then established himself as a commercials director under the name Augustus Punch.
