The highly regarded publicist has been promoted to senior vice-president at the global entertainment public relations and marketing agency.

The move expands Los Angeles-based Dembia’s role to oversee publicity, marketing and branding initiatives for a stable of clients in the global film and TV sectors.

Currently, the executive runs strategic corporate PR initiatives for studios, financiers, distributors, production companies and sales companies as well as international festivals throughout Europe and the Caribbean.

Dembia will continue to work closely with London-based executive vice-president Nikki Parker. He joined Rogers & Cowan in 2004 and has worked in public relations and corporate communications for more than 15 years.

“Dennis has consistently provided a high level of creativity and strategic counsel for his clients,” said Rogers & Cowan CEO Tom Tardio. “His guidance has proved extremely valuable to a number of international film festivals, production companies and corporate positioning strategies.”

Prior to Rogers & Cowan, Dembia managed corporate publicity at Denmead Marketing before that agency folded into Rogers & Cowan.

He started his career in the corporate communications department at Artisan Entertainment.
