Caribbean Cinemas will provide its own financing in the Cinedigm exhibitor-buyer deal structure and will deploy up to 290 screens certified by Cinedigm.

Installation is expected to be complete later this autumn. Caribbean Cinemas is the largest exhibitor in the Caribbean Islands and operates 53 theatres with a total of 437 screens throughout the region, covering including Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Aruba, St Lucia, St Maarten, Antigua, St Kitts, St Thomas and Trinidad.

  • A deal to license the Theatrical Distribution System to LD Entertainment is expected to be complete in time for the US release of The Collection on Nov 30.
  • A long-term VPF deployment agreement with a subsidiary of Reading International will provide for the digital conversion of up to 253 digital systems. Reading, through its affiliates, owns and/or operates such venues as the Angelika Film Center in New York. Completion is anticipated by the end of this year.
