The Walt Disney Company and streaming service Wuaki.tv have joined forces to offer movies on demand in Spain.

Disney Movies on Demand will include Disney and Pixar films such as Wall-E, Pirates of the Caribbean, Toy Story, Pocahontas, Ratatouille and Dumbo.

It is the second Disney-branded subscription VOD movie service in the region, following the service’s launch on Portugal’s ZON earlier this month

Simon Amselem, country manager for Walt Disney Spain and Portugal, said: “Launching a Disney-branded SVOD movie library service in Spain is a logical next step in our distribution strategy, complementing our existing agreements with other linear and non-linear broadcasters and platforms.”
