Robert Rodriguez’s new US-based cable network El Rey Network and eOne Television have struck a slew of digital deals on From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, set to receive its broadcast premiere on Tuesday night (11).

Starting on March 12, each episode will be made available in the US one day after broadcast via via EST on Amazon, iTunes, Sony PlayStation, Xbox, Vudu, Google Play, Cinemanow, Blackberry and Target Ticket.

SXSW hosted a sneak preview of From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series on March 8.

DJ Cotrona, Zane Holtz, Don Johnson and Jesse Garcia star in the story centres on a pair of bank robbers on the run who take a former pastor’s family hostage and unwittingly enter a strip club populated by vampires.

The series is inspired by Rodriguez’s 1996 film of the same name and aims to explore the characters in greater detail including the Mesoamerican mythology of the supernatural creatures.

eOne handles DVD and EST rights in the US and Canada for the series and is the exclusive worldwide distributor excluding US broadcast network rights for Matador and other original scripted series created for the network.
