LoveFilm has agreed a UK distribution deal with MGM to enable its members to watch MGM titles online and on internet-enabled devices through the LoveFilm Player.
From September, MGM Classics will be available to LoveFilm members as part of their subscription. New MGM releases will be available to access instantly on a transactional basis.

With over 85 years making top quality movies, the MGM stable will be a notable addition to our expanding ‘Watch Online’ service. With the digital revolution underway, our opportunity for growth is huge and the addition of MGM titles is a substantial development in enhancing our digital catalogue.”

MGM boasts one of the largest film libraries of any studio, with titles including West Side Story, The Apartment and the original The Taking of Pelham One Two Three.
LoveFilm is Europe’s largest film subscription service.
